High quality construction materials are available through a network of quarries and sand and gravel production facilities located throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan and most materials are ODOT and MDOT certified.
Limestone is produced from The Custar Stone Company, The West Millgrove Stone Company and The Bluffton Stone Company. While natural sand and gravel materials are produced through the Hillsdale Sand and Gravel, Glacial Sand and Gravel, and Round Lake Sand and Gravel companies. This diversity in material supply gives The Gerken Companies a competitive edge in meeting the customers’ aggregate needs and Gerken Materials’ asphalt material supply.
